INSTRUCTIONS FOR WRITTEN TEST

 

Reach the Test Centre by 2.00 PM to complete test procedures. Written Examination will start sharp at 2.30 PM.
Bring your Admit Card and Black HB Pencil and eraser for marking answers in the answer sheet.
Candidates without Admit Card will not be allowed to take the test.
Carefully read directions given in the Question Paper Booklet.
Before starting the test, complete all the information asked for on your answer sheet.
All entries should be confined to the area provided.
Ensure that correct Question Paper Series is entered on the space provided.
Calculator, Slide Rule, Dictionary, etc. are not allowed in the Examination Hall.
Discipline and decorum should be maintained in the Examination Hall. Any misdemeanor on your part during the time of test may lead to cancellation of your test.
Wait for signal to open the Question Paper Booklet.
There should be no talking once the test starts.
In the answer sheet, the question numbers progress from top to bottom.
For  each  question, there   are  four   suggested   answers   marked  1,2,3 & 4  of  which  only  one  is correct/right. You are required to select the correct/right answer and indicate it by completely darkening the relevant circle on the  answer  sheet  against  the  question  number. For  darkening  the  circles  on answer sheet use black HB pencil only.
For each question you will be awarded one mark if you have darkened
only one bubble corresponding to the correct answer. In case you have not darkened any bubble, you will be awarded zero mark for that question. There will be negative marking to the extent of half mark for darkening a wrong bubble.
Multiple answers for any question will not be evaluated.
For rough work, use blank areas within the question booklet.
Do not make any stray marks on the answer sheet.
Question paper booklet alongwith answer sheet must be deposited with the invigilator at the end of the examination. In case any  candidate  takes   away   the   Question   Booklet  or part thereof, action for theft can be taken against such defaulters through Police.
The Computerized Answer Sheet should not be crumpled in any manner.
In all matters concerning JEE, decision of NCHMCT will be final and binding.
